Prof. Hui Zhang is vice director of Institute of Public Safety Research in Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. National Leading Talent. He has conducted several national important projects in the area of safety science and engineering, semi-conductor materials, and emergency management. Prof. Zhang received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award (USA) in 1999 when he was in SUNY Stony Brook, USA.  He is the Editor-in-Chief of Safety Science and Resilience (Journal). He has published more than 300 SCI/ESCI/EI papers.
