He has published over 350 papers, and over 150 indexed by SCI/EI. He has also obtained over 20 authorized patents and published 4 books.

Academic part-time job

He is the chairman of Technical Committee on Risk and resilience, China Association for Public Safety. He is the chairman of Working Group for Resilience (WG5) of SAC/TC351 (Standardization Technical Committee for Public Safety of China).
